This matter comes before the Court on Defendants’ Motion for Summary Judgment (doc. 17). The Motion has been briefed and is ripe for disposition.
I. Nature of the Case.
Plaintiff, Eric Williamson, brought this action against defendants, the Clarke County Department of Human Resources (“CCDHR”) and the State of Alabama, asserting causes of action for employment discrimination under the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 12101 et seq., and the Rehabilitation Act, 29 U.S.C. §§ 791 et seq.
