This was an action upon an alleged guaranty given by defendant for goods sold and delivered by plaintiff to the Carolina Plumbing Company, and resulted' in a judgment in favor -of plaintiff for eight hundred and sixty-eight dollars and six cents.
As the appeal involves the construction of two letters relied on as constituting the guaranty, we produce them in full as follows:
