I. Defendant, Brenton, is the administrator, and the other defendants are sons and daughters of Margaret N. Scott, who died intestate January 16, 1913, aged about eighty-five years. She was a widow at the time plaintiff came on the farm to perform services for her in • 1903. Plaintiff is a son of deceased. The other children left home some years before the death of the mother, one of them twenty-eight years before. Plaintiff remained unmarried and for *203about fifteen years eared for his mother.
