The sole issue in this appeal is whether the trial court abused its discretion in denying the plaintiff’s claim for interest after it had resolved the principal claim in the plaintiff’s behalf. The plaintiff, the state of Connecticut, brought an action against Robert F. Stengel, Administrator for the estate of Melvin Michaels, to recover for goods and services furnished Michaels at a veterans’ home in Rocky Hill.
