OPINION

CRIPPEN, Judge.

This is the second appeal of this dissolution matter. Previously, this court affirmed the trial court’s orders regarding the property settlement, but reversed and remanded on the issues of maintenance and child support because the trial court failed to make adequate findings explaining its decision to deny maintenance and to deviate upward from the child support guidelines. See Riley v. Riley, 369 N.W.2d 40 (Minn.Ct.App.1985), pet. for rev. denied, (Minn. Aug. 29, 1985). On remand, the trial court issued additional findings and reaffirmed its initial decision.
