The plaintiff was injured by stepping into a hole on South Huntington Avenue at the intersection of Huntington Avenue, Boston, as she alighted from one of the defendant’s cars about nine o’clock in the morning on August 2,1926. The case was heard, together with an action against the city of Boston, by a judge of the Superior Court without a jury. There was a finding for the plaintiff in the sum of $4,000 against the city of Boston.
