This case concerns plaintiff Wizeida L6-pez-Cruz’s (“López”) termination from her employment as a nurse with defendant Instituto de Gastroenterología de PR (the “Institute”) after López requested an accommodation for her allergy to Cidex, a chemical disinfectant. López alleges that her termination was in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), 42 U.S.C. §§ 12101-12213 and various Commonwealth of Puerto Rico laws. ECF No. 1.
