BACKGROUND

Plaintiff, Inez M. Quintanilla, brought suit for damages for personal injuries against Chateau Louisiane, Inc. and Maryland Casualty Company, its insurer, and Maryland Casualty Company as insurer of an executive officer of The Royal Orleans, Inc. d/b/a The Royal Sonesta Hotel, a Mr. Duffy.1 Plaintiff claimed that she fell while working as a dishwasher in the kitchen of The Royal Sonesta Hotel, injuring her back.
