OPINION OF THE COURT

2Per curiam

Michael Sailing petitions for a writ of mandamus directed to Chief Justice Ronald T.Y. Moon. Sailing asks this court to require the Chief Justice to administer the oath of office so that Sailing can take office as a district family judge.

We deny the petition.

I.RELEVANT FACTS

On January 12, 1993, Sailing was appointed by former Chief Justice Herman Lum 1 as:

District Family Judge of the District Family Court of the First Circuit for a term of six (6) years, commencing upon the date he takes the oath of office.
