Plaintiff, Laurel Thomas, appeals the district court’s sua sponte dismissal of her civil rights action for failure to comply with the statute of limitations. For the following reasons, the judgment of the district court is affirmed.

On April 5, 1985, plaintiff filed this suit in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio claiming that she had been wrongfully discharged by her employer in violation of her rights under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and the first and fourteenth amendments to the United States Constitution.
