This was an action to recover under the workmen’s compensation act. John Powell suffered an injury to his hand while unloading rails, by reason of which he was permanently partially disabled. After treatment for several weeks by the doctor of the company he was discharged from further treatment, and later executed.a release in consideration of the payment of $141.88.
