ALTIMARI, Circuit Judge:

Defendant-appellant William Loeb appeals from a judgment of conviction and sentence entered in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Sand, J.), following a plea of guilty to one count of embezzlement of union funds in violation of 29 U.S.C. § 501(c) (1988) and 18 U.S.C. § 2 (1988), and one count of embezzlement of welfare funds in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 664 and 2 (1988).
