The United States (the government) appeals from a 292-month sentence the United States District Court for the Northern District of Iowa imposed on appellee, Dustin Lee Honken, on his guilty plea to conspiring to distribute methamphetamine, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846, and to attempting to manufacture methamphetamine, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1). In calculating appellee’s sentence, the district court assessed a 2-level increase for obstruction of justice, and awarded appel-lee a 3-level acceptance of responsibility reduction.
