At a general court-martial convened at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, a panel composed of officer and enlisted members convicted Appellant, contrary to his pleas, of one specification of attempting to communicate indecent language to a child under the age of sixteen and one specification of using the Internet to transfer sexually explicit electronic images to a person he believed had not attained the age of sixteen, in violation of Articles 80 and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. §§ 880, 934 (2006).
