OPINION
J. CURTISS BROWN, Chief Justice.
This is a consolidated appeal from the take-nothing summary judgments rendered against appellant in a medical malpractice case. Appellant brought a survival action on behalf of the estate of his wife, Lois Wilson, and a wrongful death suit in his individual capacity against appellees. A summary judgment was first rendered in favor of Dr. Kim and Dr. Choi. Following the severance of appellant’s suit against these defendants, appellant appealed.
