The plaintiff, Gloria Palmieri, brought this action against the defendants, police officers George Kammerer and Joseph Murgo, alleging constitutional violations pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Palmieri alleges that the defendants violated her Fourth Amendment rights by conducting a warrantless search of her home, seizing her lawfully possessed handgun, and obtaining a search warrant by making false representations to the issuing judge.
