Defendant J.A. Morkoski (Morkoski) appeals the trial court’s judgment awarding damages to plaintiff Norman Owen Trucking, Inc., on the latter’s claims of fraudulent conveyance, unfair and deceptive trade practices and unjust enrichment. Morkoski contends the trial court erred by denying his motions for directed verdict and judgment notwithstanding the verdict (JNOV) as to each claim, and further assigns as error the trial court’s determination that his conduct violated N.C.G.S. § 75-1.1 (1994).
