This appeal arises from a contempt proceeding initiated by appellant, William Holdner, against respondent on appeal, Norma Keller. Holdner is the personal representative of the estate of Roy Keller, Norma’s deceased former husband.1 In 2001, Norma and Roy dissolved their marriage, and a stipulated judgment of dissolution awarded certain insurance policies to Roy. When Roy died in June 2006, Holdner discovered that Norma was still listed as one of the beneficiaries on those policies, and he requested that she sign a declaration disclaiming her interest in the insurance proceeds.…
