A jury found the defendant, Donald G. Ringgard, guilty of unlawful possession of a firearm, see G. L. c. 269, *198§ lO(Zz).1 On appeal, Ringgard maintains that the motion judge erred in denying his motion to suppress, and that the prosecutor’s closing argument and the trial judge’s instructions gave rise to a substantial risk of a miscarriage of justice. We affirm.
