Plaintiffs seek to compel the testimony of a third-party, the former President of Colombia Alvaro Uribe (“respondent”), in connection with pending litigation in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. See Giraldo v. Drummond Co. Inc., 7:09-cv-1041 (N.D.Al.).
