ROGERS, Justice.

The plaintiff, George De Bouchel, filed suit to recover $50,000 damages from the Koss Construction Company, Inc., and nine other persons as joint tort-feasors. The suit was brought in the city of New Orleans, where the Koss Construction Company, an Iowa corporation maintains its principal office and an agent for the service of process. One of the other defendants lives in the parish of Jefferson and the rest of the defendants live in the parish of St. Bernard.
