The State has appealed the district court’s suppression of drug evidence found after officers stopped Dinah SanchezLoredo in her car. The officers had been investigating her potential involvement in a methamphetamine-distribution network, and the district court concluded that the officers had probable cause to believe that evidence of illegal drugs could be found in the car. But after the officers first had enough information for probable cause, they continued to follow Sanchez-Loredo for quite awhile even though they also had an assistant district attorney standing by to assist…
