Appellant James B. Davis (Davis) appeals the trial court’s granting of summary judgment in favor of Appellee, City of Grapevine (the City). The City cross-appeals the trial court’s denial of its objection to Davis’ summary judgment evidence. In seven points, Davis contends that the trial court erred in granting the motion for summary judgment because the City (1) failed to meet its burden of showing that there are no genuine issues of material fact, (2) failed to prove as a matter of law that Davis could not perform the essential functions of the relevant…
