Plaintiff appeals from a summary judgment which dismissed a wrongful death action against Dr. Lawrence N. Brigham. The issues on appeal are: (1) Did the trial court err in refusing to hold that the doctrine of res ipsa loquitur was applicable? (2) Did the trial court err in failing to apply the standard of care adopted in Helling v. Carey, 83 Wn.2d 514, 519 P.2d 981, 67 A.L.R.3d 175 (1974)? For the reasons stated below, we affirm.
