The object of this suit is to establish an equitable title in the complainant in a certain house and lot in East Orange, New Jersey.

The complainant claims such title by reason of an instrument in writing, dated November 14th, 1904, and signed by her late husband, Edward M. Cowdrey.

The defendants are the heirs-at-law of the said Cowdrey in possession of the premises, and by their answer put in issue the complainant’s allegations as to the genuineness of the paper writing set forth in her bill, and set up that if it is a genuine writing it has no legal force or effect whatever, and…
