OPINION

LAGARDE, Justice.

This case is before us on the motion of appellant’s appointed counsel to withdraw as counsel for appellant pursuant to Anders v. California, 386 U.S. 738, 87 S.Ct. 1396, 18 L.Ed.2d 493 (1967).

Appellate counsel represents Ervin Jeffery, who is appealing his conviction for delivery of cocaine. In the trial court, appellant waived a jury trial and pleaded not guilty. After finding him guilty, the trial court assessed his punishment at twenty years’ imprisonment. The trial court then sentenced appellant in open court to twenty years’ imprisonment.
