In this case the plaintiffs resist the action of the city of Berkeley in ordering the improvement of certain streets of -that city by the construction and installation of electroliers and a conduit system for the purpose of lighting its streets. The specific relief sought is injunction pendente lite against the performance of a contract let for the above purpose, and a final judgment that this contract is void.
