Appellant stands convicted by special court-martial of eighteen drug offenses under Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice and a theft offense under Article 121, Uniform Code of Military Justice. The findings were in consonance with pleas of guilty to the Article 121 offense and all but four of the drug offenses. On 7 April 1983, appellant was sentenced to a bad conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for sixty days, forfeiture of $382 per month for two months and reduction to seaman recruit.
