May 31, 1888, a judgment was recovered in the circuit court for the county of Genesee in favor of the People of the State of Michigan, for the use and benefit of John Clinton, against Benjamin H. Laning, Isaiah G. Laning, Burdiclc Potter, and Daniel F. Rice, for $3,003.45 damages, with costs, upon a liquor bond upon which Potter and Bice were sureties. The bill in this cause was filed in aid of execution on this judgment, and for the purpose of setting aside a transfer of certain lan'ds made by the defendant Daniel F. Bice to the defendant Van Pelt as fraudulent as against complainant. Proofs…
