MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
HADEN, Chief Judge.
Pending are cross motions for summary judgment in an age discrimination action. Jurisdiction is based on diversity of citizenship. 1 For the following reasons, the Court GRANTS Defendant’s motion for summary judgment and DENIES Plaintiffs motion.
Plaintiff was hired by Cabot in 1977. When he was fired in 1994, he was 43 years old. He worked first as a Lab Technician and then as a Lab Chemist and Production Assistant.
