On May 15, 2000, defendants RMM Records & Video Corp., RMM Filmworks, and Ralph Mercado (hereinafter “RMM”) moved to preclude co-plaintiff Glenn Monroig’s written memorialization of an oral transfer of •ownership of copyrights for the song ‘To Soy” to co-plaintiff Mamoku Publishing, Inc. They based this motion on (1) the facial irregularities of the documents presented and (2) co-plaintiffs failure to comply with the general provisions for discovery under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26.(1) Documents’ Facial Irregularities
