delivered the opinion of the Court:
This was a prosecution under the bastardy act, against Aaron Bowers. The charge was that he was the father of a bastard child by Hannah 0. Johnson. He was bound over for his appearance at the circuit court, where, on a trial, the jury found him to be the father of the child. A motion for a new trial was entered, but overruled by the court, and the judgment required by the statute was entered, and this appeal was taken, and various errors are assigned.
