delivered the opinion of the court.

Mrs. Matthews was Granger’s landlord and held a chattel mortgage from him to secure the rent. Claiming he had violated conditions of the mortgage she seized the mortgaged property. Granger brought this action of replevin to recover its possession. The first and second trials resulted in judgments in favor of Granger, which we reversed in 66 Ill. App. 121 and 71 Ill. App. 467.
