In deciding this case, the Appellate Court delivered an opinion, which, with a few unimportant changes, is as follows:
“Mrs. Matthews was Granger’s landlord, and held a chattel mortgage from him to secure the rent. Claiming he had violated conditions of the mortgage she seized the mortgaged property. Granger brought this action of replevin to recover its possession. The first and second trials resulted in judgments in favor of Granger, which were reversed in 66 Ill. App. 121 and 71 id. 467. A third trial resulted in a verdict for Granger, and a fourth trial in a verdict for Mrs. Matthews, each…
