This is an action in equity, to compel the de*988fendant subscribers to the capital stock of the Des Moines Union Stock Yards Company to pay a sufficient amount on their unpaid subscriptions to equalize the losses of the stockholders. The authorized capital stock of the Des Moines Union Stock Yards Company was $1,000,000 of common stock, which was later, by amendment to its articles of incorporation, increased to $2,500,000.
