MEMORANDUM OPINION

ROGER W. TITUS, District Judge.

Congress enacted Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to ensure that employees are treated fairly in the workplace without regard to their age, sex, race, and physical characteristics, among others. These vital protections are designed to ensure that employees are evaluated on the basis of their merit as opposed as to their immutable characteristics.
