KAPSNER, Justice.

[¶ 1] Jeff Trosen appeals from a district court judgment dismissing his legal and equitable claims against Shirley Tro-sen and Brent Trosen. We affirm the judgment, concluding the district court did not err by granting Shirley Trosen and Brent Trosen’s motion for judgment as a matter of law and dismissing Jeff Trosen’s legal claims, and the district court reached the right result with respect to Jeff Tro-sen’s equitable claims, but for the wrong reason.
