Defendant Tiara Jones was convicted of one count of first-degree premeditated murder and one count of second-degree intentional murder. Jones now appeals, attacking his convictions because the trial court refused to: (1) suppress his inculpatory statements to law enforcement officers, (2) excuse a juror who reported contact with the defendant’s family during the trial, and (3) instruct on reckless second-degree murder.
