Brandon Antoine McReynolds, the appellant, seeks review of his convictions and sentence for first-degree murder, aggravated robbeiy, and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery.

On the night of August 12, 2005, Kansas City, Kansas, police responded to a report of a person lying on the ground next to a car. When the police arrived, they found a young man, Zhihai Cui, lying on the street. Cui was a delivery driver for a Chinese restaurant.
