At the April, 1916, term this petition was filed by leave of court, praying for a writ of mandamus against the respondent, Robert E. Turney, Judge of the superior court and ex-officio judge of the criminal court of Cook county, commanding him forthwith to enter an order in a cause pending in said criminal court entitled, “The People of the State of Illinois vs. Charles Letukas et al.” expunging from the record of said cause an order entered April 5, 1916, vacating the judgment theretofore entered adjudging the said Charles Letukas to be guilty of the crime of robbery and the sentence imposed…
