The questions for decision in this case arise upon habeas corpus, awarded at a former day of this term upon the petition of Michael Manyx, alleging that he was unlawfully imprisoned by the sheriff of Schuyler county, by virtue of a supposed final judgment or sentence of the county court of that county. In support of which allegation various matters were set forth, and certified copies of the record of said court, so far as material to the questions raised, were attached to the petition and made a part thereof.
