Supreme Court of Arkansas

1Opinion of the Court

Betty C. Dickey, Justice.

Terik Joseph Robinson was convicted of capital murder in violation of Ark. Code Ann. § 5-10-101(a)(4) by a Pulaski County jury, and sentenced to life without parole plus sixty months. Robinson raises two points on appeal, that the trial court erred by denying his motion for a directed verdict, and his motion for a mistrial. We have jurisdiction of this case pursuant to Ark. Sup. Ct. R. 1-2(a) (2). We find no error and affirm the judgment of the circuit court.

On August 14, 2003, Robinson went to the home of Marcus Murphy. He was smoking “sherm” (a drug similar to PCP)…
