Plaintiff brought an action to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by him in a traffic accident occurring about 1 p.m., on May 13, 1947, on a street known as East Michigan avenue in the city of Kalamazoo.
Each Michigan avénue runs east from its intersection with Kings highway for a distance of approximately two blocks at which point it curves to the north and goes under the New York Central bridge.
