Plaintiff, a domestic corporation, sues a Federal Revenue Officer for the damages allegedly done to plaintiff when defendant’s superiors x*epudiated a tax settlement that defendant allegedly made with plaintiff and which defendant allegedly represented that he had the authority to make. The claim is that defendant, while acting as a Revenue Officer, in October 1962 settled a disputed tax claim with plaintiff and that defendant then warranted to plaintiff his authority to settle the claim.
