The Los Angeles County Grand Jury returned an indictment against defendants in which they were charged jointly with conspiracy to violate two sections of the Health and Safety Code; section 11500, possession of narcotics, and section 11501, sale of narcotics. The indictment alleged five overt acts to support the charge of conspiracy. The indictment also charged each defendant separately with violation of section 11500 of the Health and Safety Code.
