The plaintiffs brought this action in trespass, seeking damages and an injunction requiring the defendant to remove her garage from land allegedly belonging to them. The defendant denied the allegation that her garage was located upon the plaintiffs’ property and pleaded, by way of special defense, that she had acquired title to the disputed property through adverse possession.
