Defendant, William Denton, appeals the judgment of conviction entered upon jury verdicts finding him guilty of theft, first degree aggravated motor vehicle theft, and theft by receiving. Defendant also appeals the mandatory parole component of his habitual criminal sentence. We affirm the judgment of conviction for first degree aggravated motor vehicle theft and vacate the convictions and sentences for theft and theft by receiving.
