Lots 1 to 12, inclusive, of block 11 of Alliance Addition, owned by the Modern Lumber & Millwork Company, comprise the half block- on the east side of Cushman avenue and extend between south Eleventh and south Twelfth streets in the city of Tacoma. For approximately sixteen years, the lumber company and its immediate predecessor in interest have occupied all of the twelve lots and conducted thereon a store for the sale at retail of lumber, plaster board, roofing paper, paints, hardware, and other building supplies.
