Some explanation is called for when an opinion in a Social Security disability benefit case is as extensive as this opinion, and where, in effect, it stands as the single opinion of one judge out of three, the other two members of the court concurring merely in the result. The main task of the writer of this opinion, it should be frankly said, was to emphasize to the other members of the court that the judgment of the district court should be affirmed.
