On May 17, 2011, Maryland Casualty Company and Northern Insurance Company of New York, (collectively, “the Insurers”), brought a complaint for declaratory judgment in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, against Blackstone International, Ltd., and John R. Black (collectively, “Blackstone”). The complaint asked the circuit court to declare that the parties’ insurance policy did not cover a lawsuit brought against Blackstone by RMG Direct, Inc.
